This standard package is ideal for capturing the beauty and essence of your baby in our studio—set in tranquil Marina Da Gama.
Perfect for shooting delicate details of newborns in cozy, home environments or exquisite natural settings.
Best suited for professionally documenting and beautifully immortalizing special occasions in your baby’s new life.
It really is up to you—when you feel the most comfortable. We pride ourselves on a safe and hygienic environment to minimize any potential bacterial threats. But ultimately we recommend that your baby is at least 14 days old.
Anything you like, but there are a few specifics you must be made aware of, to get the best possible outcome: Avoid shades of bright red; striped patterns; or reflective elements.
We offer a selection of small gowns and wraps to add texture if need be.
Professional camera and lighting equipment takes time to set up and must constantly be adjusted to get the best resultant for different scenarios. Factors like skin tone, wardrobe, shooting location and time of day, all play a critical part.
However, the main time consideration is always the comfort of your baby—and keeping them happy. Working around them and their moods & feelings, is what allows us to capture those magical moments.
Infants who are slightly older can be photographed either out or indoors, as well as in our studio—whichever you prefer. For newborns, we suggest either in-studio or in the comfort of your home.
The style is classic and timeless, and includes:
Technical Excellence: A sharp focus, proper exposure, and a clear, readable subject.
Classical Composition: Utilising established artistic rules like the Rule of Thirds or Symmetry to naturally guide the viewer’s eye.
Minimalist Lighting: Traditional portrait lighting setups (e.g. Rembrandt lighting) to give depth and dimension to the subject.
Timeless Editing: Preferring authentic colors and clean black-and-white grading over flashy filters or heavy digital manipulation.
Turnaround time depends on the package selected, but typically ranges from 7 to 14 business days. We also offer priority delivery with select packages.
Yes. Our Canon cameras have full frame 5760 x 3840 res. sensors which are approx. 8 times larger than those of top tier phones—resulting in much more information per pixel. Together with a set of crystal clear prime lenses, they deliver high fidelity images equivalent to 35mm film quality.
Never judge image quality on a phone. The real test comes when you see it on a large screen. Preserving a high image quality will give you the option to do pristine blowup prints down the line, and prep for better integration with future higher resolution formats.
